After a long, hot day at work, I stopped at the local UDF to treat the whole house to ice cream and as soon as I came across this flavor, I knew it was the one I was buying for myself. It has so many of my favorite flavors in one beautiful pint container, there was no way I could resist.

As we arrived at the house, everyone was given their chosen flavor and we all scattered around the living room to enjoy our treats. As soon as the first spoonful of Praline Pecan Pie touched my tongue, I knew I had made the right choice in ice cream flavors. The rich brown sugar ice cream provided the perfect background for crunchy pecans, swirls of creamy praline and flaky pie crust. I had originally intended on eating only half of my pint, but it was so good I couldn't stop myself from eating it all. The ensuing tummy ache was totally worth it!

If you are looking for a lighter ice cream to enjoy while the weather is still hot, Praline Pecan Pie may not be the best flavor for you. The rich flavors of fall may be too much for a hot night. However, once the weather cools again, this ice cream will be perfect to enjoy with a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate, a slice of pie or cake or with your favorite sipping bourbon.
