Shrubs are a unique and flavorful way to brighten up your usual cocktail hour. They add a little bit of sweet, a little bit of tart and a whole bunch of flavor to your favorite spiritous liquor.
Prairie Organic Spirits shared this simple-and versatile-recipe with me to provide inspiration to you all for holiday cocktails, but shrub cocktails are perfect any time of the year!
Prairie Shrub Cocktail
Ingredients
- 2 oz Prairie Organic Vodka or Prairie Cucumber-Flavored Organic Vodka
- ½ oz shrub of your choice
- Club Soda
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake and serve over ice in a tall glass and top with club soda. Garnish as desired.
